Step1: Complete your registration form

My examination board is Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)

You will need to complete your registration form online through School Registration System (SRS).  Please click here to start your registration.

Please make sure you provide a valid e-mail ID as all communications about your registration will be sent directly to your e-mail account automatically.

My examination board is Pearson Edexcel

You will need to complete your registration form first.

Register by downloading the Pearson Edexcel registration form below for International GCSEs , GCE AS/A-levels or IAL .

When you have completed the application form, remember to print your form, sign and date the declaration.

Step 2: Pay for your exams

You will find the fees for all exams listed on the registration form. Your application will not be processed until you have paid for your exams.

You can pay via cash or credit card through our local British Council Customer services team.

PENALTY FEES

Each examination board has a normal registration stage for each exam session. You may still be able to register for exams after this date, but you will have to pay a penalty fee. You can find more information about late registration penalty fees through the British Council office.

Step 3: Submit your registration form

You have now filled in your registration form and paid for your exams.

The final step is to submit your application to the British Council office where you wish to take the exams.

To do this, you will need:

Your completed and signed registration form. Please make and keep a photocopy of this form for your records.

  • Two recent colour passport-size photographs. These must be identical and taken within the past three months.
  • A clear photocopy of your valid passport or Central Population Registry Card (CPR).
  • Registration fee for exams

Submit your application to your nearest British Council office where you wish to take your test.

Step 4: Registration Complete

You have successfully registered for school exams with the British Council.

SMS/email communication will be sent to notify candidates for collection of the final Statement of Entry, CIE Notice to Candidates and Examinations Venue letter. These documents should be collected from the British Council at least three weeks before the commencement of your exam. Late entry candidates should collect their Statements of Entry a week before the commencement of the exams.
