Bahrain ELTPN Fourth Conference & Exhibition

ELT: Differentiation That Makes a Difference

The Bahrain English Language Teaching Professionals Network is holding its fourth annual conference and exhibition on 6th-7th March 2015 under the theme: “ELT: Differentiation That Makes a Difference”.

"Differentiation means tailoring instruction to meet individual needs. Whether teachers differentiate content, process, products, or the learning environment, the use of ongoing assessment and flexible grouping makes this a successful approach to instruction."Tomlinson, C. A. (August, 2000). Differentiation of Instruction in the Elementary Grades. ERIC Digest. ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

The conference will feature 19 presentations, including keynote speakers Donna Brinton, Educational Consultant, Beverly Hills, California, USA; Thomas Robb, Professor and Chair of the Department of English, at Kyoto Sangyo University, Japan; and Peter Lucantoni, Educational Consultant and Teacher Trainer from Cambridge University Press, UK.

The ELTPN conference is the only conference held at this scale for English language teachers in Bahrain. It’s a great platform for professional development and a wonderful networking opportunity for educators and education specialists in Bahrain and the Gulf.
